Ahhh, can you feel that? That’s you sitting in a nice warm bath filled with calming herbs, relaxing and releasing all your concerns from the day away.
I’ve wanted to make a D.I.Y. with Lavender and Chamomile for some time now. Two of my favorite herbs, both great for rest and tranquility. These herbs are gentle and calming, perfect for releasing anxieties, and even better for a good night’s sleep.
Lavender and Chamomile are often used together in many items such as bath and body products, candles, sleep satchels, and tea.
Whether you use these herbs internally or topically, you will reap some excellent benefits.
Ingredients and Benefits:
Lavender: Not only relaxing, but Lavender is great for your overall mood, combatting stress and fatigue, and relieving muscle tension. Mildly antiseptic and will aid in healing tiny cuts and scratches and bites and fight stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Lavender essential oil can instantly improve the quality of your slumber. Magickal Properties: Cleansing, purifying, protecting, and can promote good dreams.
Chamomile: Soothing for irritated and sensitive skin. It helps to reduce redness and is antibacterial, aids in minimizing scars and marks. Also great for reducing stress and promoting peaceful sleep. Magickal Properties: Cleanses your aura, wards off negativity, attracts luck and love, brings prosperity, and aligns solar plexus.
Oats: Oats are gentle and soothing on the skin, anti-inflammatory, and can be very moisturizing. Great for rashes, dry and itchy skin, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.
Epsom Salts: Epsom salts help in reducing swelling and relieving aches, calming inflammations, sunburns, sore muscle, stiff joints, and stress.
All ingredients are safe for pregnant women after the 1st trimester, but I’m not a healthcare professional, so I recommend checking with your doctor first if you try this D.I.Y.
Don’t use this D.I.Y. if you currently have a skin infection.
